Dear mother,
Teach me to be fearless
To face the shadow without hesitation,
Teach me to run wild
And never lose my inner child,
Teach me to trust myself
So that I can trust others,
Teach me not to give up
So that my dreams can come true,
Teach me to take space
And not shrink,
Teach me to glow in the dark
To light all the roads,
Teach me to see the stars
And recognize I’m one of them,
Teach me what freedom is
So I never settle for less
